This draft amendment to Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 aims to address current challenges improving the documentation and controls of recycled plastics including those imported to the EU, to provide the legal basis for the creation of the TARIC codes, and to streamline with an interactive digital platform the procedure for registration by industry and the management of the recycling installations by national authorities.
