Description
The draft will introduce the following amendments to Directive 2009/48/EC on the satefy of toys:Inclusion of the fragrance Lilial in the list of prohibited allergenic fragrances in toys, set out in the first paragraph in Point 11 of Annex II to the Directive; Deletion, in Appendix C to Annex II of the Directive of the references to standards EN 71-10 and EN 71-11 as mandatory testing methods for bisphenol A, phenol and benzisothiazolinone in toys; andReduction of the limit value for bisphenol A in Appendix C to Annex II to the Directive, to 0.005 mg/l (migration limit).
